Fors Marsh Group Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Defined and Efficient Business Practices

Today, Fors Marsh Group (FMG) announced it has been appraised at Maturity Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). CMMI—widely considered the global leader in measuring an organization’s capabilities—is an improvement framework that provides organizations with essential elements of effective processes that improve performance.

“Fors Marsh Group’s commitment to quality, innovative solutions that create impact is affirmed by achieving this appraisal and other important certifications,” said Ben Garthwaite, Senior Vice President. “Since our founding, FMG has continued to improve our organizational processes, hire notable subject matter experts and business leaders, and establish long-term client relationships. Earning this rating further validates that our work is consistently high quality, constantly improving, and relentlessly impactful.”

The appraisal was performed by Acuity, Inc. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 specifies that FMG is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, FMG’s processes are well documented and implemented and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. For FMG clients, achieving CMMI Maturity Level 3 means:

  • Our work and processes have received the highest form of third-party validation;
  • We take a proactive approach to managing projects and processes; and
  • We are dedicated to continuous improvement and producing great work that makes a difference.

At FMG, we combine the power of research and strategy to solve social, commercial, and health-related challenges. As the first Washington, DC-area research firm to be named a Certified B Corporation, FMG is committed to ensuring our business practices not only benefit our clients, their employees, and their audiences, but also our own organization, employees, and community.
